Annual .5k Fun Run

A favorite Eastern Sierra Conservation Corps fundraiser is our annual .5k Fun Run. Not a 5k… a .5k race! This race is about 1,640 feet.

Our first event was held in the Liberty Bar parking lot. We did a few laps around a few parking spaces. The preferred race gear was flip flops, or in one case, an ankle boot or a bloody mary in hand.

The race takes about 10 minutes. Our second year we did one lap around The Village. This is a fierce race, only meant for serious competitors. :)
